Interesting but it's more about the different rules and regulations between Europe and USA on all new makes of cars, they have picked a Mini just as an example (rather than picking on Mini). I don't see it as a "US made map of the world" issue you could easily say the same thing the other way round about the Europeans. I wonder if they will harmonize things, I don't see they have much incentive, the added costs of the differences are just passed on to us customers.

(Thanks for the link, no wonder google couldn't find it, there is no mention of Mini or F56 textually)

We have the same issue in Canada. I visit Europe a lot and wish I could see the Peugots/ Renaults/Citroens, etc here.

There are a lot of complexities in getting cars to market.

At least we have Mini and nice to see Fiat making inroads here.

I had the ultimate insult the other day. My wife's friend asked me if I liked my new Fiat!!!!!:(
