I'm not sure about fade, but I believe using the volume knob while the sensors are active changes the volume of them. I thought my music fades when they are on... Now I'm not sure

No way to fade music, but there is a way to boost your PDC volume, either by adjusting the volume while they are beeping, or in SETTINGS -> TONE -> VOLUME SETTINGS

Audis do this and I always thought it was a good way to make sure you're focused on parking. Then again, don't touch my music! ;)

Yeah, I had crank my PDC volume all the way up and even then I have to turn my music down sometimes.

If you get into ESYS and start coding things, you can change the system sounds in the MINI to the BMW or BMWi sounds which have...uh..."beepier" PDC sounds that I like better.
