Im having a hard time deciding on the seats
Cross Leather: Punch Carbon Black OR Leather: Lounge Satellite Gray??????

I think the Grey looks super and a little more elegant but as keeping them clean scares me.

I have inclosed a few pics of the build and a took a screen grab off a video that shows the electric blue in real time to get a feel of the true color with the black roof and added black strips and darken the tail lights as I will end up modifying later.

Please give me your feed back as far as the build and seats go.

Thanks!:x

Wow! Did you leave anything off the order list?:)

Personally I would do the Punch Carbon Black seats. The grey leather looks great new, but I would be sooo afraid of staining it. You have to be careful about dirty clothes, winter weather (?), food or drinks and god help you if you get stuck somewhere and the muck outside gets inside.

But that's just me. You are going to end up with a beautiful ride either way.

Satellite Grey for me too!

Previous R56 cooper had it and I like the colour so much that specced it again for my current F56 Cooper S;).

Just one thing, it you are getting the HUD, you may want to consider the driver assist pack?
A bit pricey, but it gives you traffic signs on the HUD and the active camera based cruise control feature.
I very nearly missed this option until I did some research.

DDC gives you electronically controlled variable rate dampers -that you can change the settings of electrically via the menus in the car, or they chage with the sport mid green modes on the gear stick thingy. Not got them-happy with the standard ride, thought it was something that might easily wear / go wrong, and sports suspension is just that fixed-firmer sportier ride. as far as I understand it being a luddite and spending my money on other things eg led lights and hud (which I love even though I haven't got the drivers assist pack!)
Have a feeling the driver assist pack may be temporarily unavailable but you need to check with your dealer if you want it-adds speed limit detecting camera , shows on sl on the hud, plus self parking etc etc! I THINK but not got that either!

I added the Dynamic Damper Control instead of the sport Suspension whats the difference?
The DDC adjusts the rate on the shocks. You can set it to ride firmer, which improves handling somewhat while making the suspension feels a bit harsher. If your kidneys object, you can set to ride softer. This is a big benefit for people who drive on marginal roads.

The Sport Suspension has stiffer springs, stiffer sway bars, and stiffer shocks. It's stiffer, in other words. The car handles much better and truly feels like it is on rails. You can't turn this off. My car has SS and I absolutely love it. The downside is you will feel every bump in the road, though in my case I don't mind because it reminds me that I'm driving a performance car and not a Buick.

If you don't care that much about handling, then the DDC is probably the way to go. If you want to extract that last bit of go-cart from your MINI, go for the Sports Suspension.

Whichever way you go, it'll be a great car that is more fun to drive than just about anything.

Well done that chap!
Take a look at the pics of my car to confirm that the sattelite grey was a good choice!

So all you have to do is wait now eh?
Keep going through the options as you still have time to adjust your order if required.

Don't forget that pics are a must once you pick it up, the more pics the better.
Oh and you can now start buying the extra toys while you are waiting, such as a stubby aerial and a Mini Bulldog soft toy etc:D:D:D

That's cool! It's always good to see pics of a new family member.

Good Luck,

John
