At long last I picked up my Cooper S yesterday!! It's amazing!! The ride is so smooth & the speed is incredible!!!So glad I went for the S, don't think I'd have been happy with just the Cooper. Love all the gadgets inside & the built in sat nav & entertainment system is excellent. Due to the week delay due to the transport issue I got a full tank of petrol.

Stripes Question

I notice the bonnet stripes don't have white edges like the ones in the pic below - are they dealer or factory fit ?

Using the VIN from the picture you have uploaded, the strips were fitted by factory, the ones with the white edging, first time i see all black stripes!

They fitted them at the dealership before I picked it up, dealer thought it would look better without the pinstripe & I agreed with him!!!

I've realised though that black roof and caps go well together with the blazing red - white doesn't and we have a white roof with the chilli red on my wife's mini which looks far better!

Do like the blacks stripes!

Are you sure the petrol was free? On my paperwork I have £40 down as part of the price.
