I hope you can resist making a lot of mods because that JCW looks absolutely perfect "as-is" :) Nice build!

Enjoy,

John

Minis are too much fun to be street legal, particularly the JCWs! Enjoy your new ride. I hated to part with our R56 JCW, it was akin to losing a good friend or family member, however the F56 JCW has eased the pain adequately! Happy motoring!

I had mine in sport mode on drive from dealership wanted to hear those pops and bangs from the start.

lol yeah I wanted to put it in sport straight away as mini told me it was already run in from factory but for some reason I felt uncomfortable doing that so I put a couple of hundred miles on first . I suppose I'm used to the old way of running it in before you push it hard but times change now you can drive them as hard as you want straight away .

Enjoy the drive, JCWs are built to be driven like you stole them! They are tough little buggers! I drove our new one reasonably sanely for the first 2,000 miles which took me about one-and-one-half months. Now, I will unleash the hounds, err, horses! I did have the occasional animal moment once or twice for a short period prior to the 2,000 mile self imposed benchmark. The difference between the R56 JCW and the F56 JCW is quite remarkable.
