Hey guys and gals, just thought I would share a few piccies of one of our drivers from our Stafford depot putting up the new mini at Stratsone Leeds (I think?).

I pass it everyday and noticed it was down on my way home. Always wondered if they were real or just some kind of lightweight shell and now we know.

Do we know? I couldn't tell how (in)complete that car was from the photos posted. Obviously components missing from under the wheel arches but what about under the hoot? Interior?

My guess is that it is just a shell to keen the weight down.

Hmm not sure ... I'll try find out from my driver. Like you say, you'd think (hope) that it's just a shell!

I think its a great idea. For work i do a few way out west country trips and i always pass ths car that is jammed way up high in a tree and it always makes me chuckle.
Just something different and a talking point, great sales tactic.

I would imagine the engine and heavy components have been removed unless that is a **** of a weight on the side of the building.
