Hi All,

I just bought a new mini last Thursday. The Forward Collision Warning is switched on. I tried couple of times in the city, but it never worked. Is there some other switch I need to turn on?

Cheers,
When I had a Clubman on loan, it only really seemed to work when my foot was on the accelerator and I was approaching something that was going considerably slower or approaching me fast (on a double parked road).

I'd be careful trying it.

In my experience, it's tough to "test" it as it really is designed to work only when it detects an imminent collision. That being said, not a great idea to try and trick the car into thinking you're about to hit something on an actual road with other drivers...
