Just ordered my F55 in Volcanic Orange. Fully loaded, wired upgrade, Sat radio, manual transmission. Up until now I've been a Toyota owner, driving Priuses since 2006. I love the Prius, but it is time to pass the 2010 on to my wife and get something a bit more fun to drive. My brother picked up a Clubman several years back, which he absolutely loves. It certainly is a fun car to passenger in.

The hard part will be waiting until end of March/beginning of April for it to be delivered...

I'm already well on my way. Fortunately the dealer had a F55 manual in stock for me to test drive, which was a blast. That shifted the visit from fact finding to placing an order.

Fortunately I'd already played with the configurator enough to know what I wanted.

Nope, it hasn't been built yet. I do now have the Production number, and with any luck it'll be here closer to the beginning of March than the end. We'll see how that works out.

The order tracking page in the MINI Owner's Lounge even is finally starting to get the details of my order instead of the dealer order that mine replaced. Just the color so far, with a blank for the Factory Ordered Options section, but that's progress.

Yes, I am impatient. Why do you ask?

Welcome, I ordered mine 10 days ago, although I went for British Racing Green, the Mrs. absolutely said no to Volcanic Orange, which was my second choice!

I had to be a bit more selective with my addons, but I got everything I wanted (except park assist which is no longer available, and a few things I thought were standard but isn't). Mine says middle of March, but dealer says it could be closer to the start.

Oh man, I am not jealous that you have to wait days for delivery. I live about 80 miles from the production plant in Oxford so delivery should be pretty rapid for me, thank god! Also my very first MINI, and my very first brand new car. Hopefully first of many!

Fortunately most of my waiting at this point should be over. It needs to get processed through the VDC, then up to the dealer. With any luck I should have it in the next week or two.

I missed my Prius yesterday for the first time since I got my mini last November. I had loads of errands to run and the town was really busy. Found out that the mini hates to drive around at 15 mph. It was like trying to tame a wild beast.
