I can't seem to find full specs for the radios offered in new Minis... Are the "HD" station capable?

Found my answer! HD is supported in mini radios.

Yes, though sometimes it's turned off from the factory. Go into FM and click the OPTION button on your controller and make sure "HD Radio Reception" is on. If you have the 6.5" Visual Boost or Connected XL, you'll also get album art and song info (depending on the radio station).
