Hi all,

Only 1,700 km driven
Stored in garage.
Noticed that my Headlights Housing have a cloudy, foggy, haze to them when the light are on. This is on the inside of both housings. It is not condensation.
Anyone else experiencing the same ? What did you do about it ? I guess what I am driving at, to me this is a defect and should be replaced under warranty ? Any thoughts ? Thank You !

I don't have near enough miles on mine to experience anything like that. Now that you've pointed it out though, I'm going to keep a close look at them. Probably doesn't affect the quality of illumination your lights are putting out, but who in the heck wants to look at crud after you just washed and polished up your new ride?

Cause: Injection Moulding Process
Material: Optical Polymer
Issue From This Process & Material:
Haze, measured as off-axis light scattering, is typically less than 1 % for the optical polymers discussedhere.Haze canvarywith component thickness, impurities present and processing method.

Anyone else experiencing the same issue as me on their car headlight housing?
What did you do about it ?
Thanks !

Hi there,

I know this is an old post but did you ever find out what causes these foggy/dusty patches on the inside of the headlights? Or more importantly, how to get rid of it?
