Hi. names Paul.

Just put my order through for my MINI, thought I'd use this space to say a little about myself and the car, so here goes.

I'll start with the car, I've opted for the ONE purely to keep prices low, I've added all the extras I wanted and shall list them below.

VOLCANIC ORANGE
16" VICTORY SPOKE ALLOY WHEELS IN BLACK
MIRROR CAPS IN BODY COLOUR
CLOTH FIREWORK CARBON BLACK/CARBON BLACK
COLOUR LINE - CARBON BLACK
PEPPER PACK
VISUAL BOOST RADIO
WHITE INDICATOR LENSES
DARKENED REAR GLASS
ANTHRACITE ROOF LINING
MULTI-FUNCTION CONTROLS FOR S'WHEEL
CRUISE CONTROL WITH BRAKE FUNCTION

If money had permitted I would have probably added in also the sports seats but again only being the ONE I don't expect to be thrashing this car about so probably won't need them!

Now a little about me, I'm 23 and this will be my 3rd car, my first was an 1983 Austin Mini Mayfair which I still own and cherish, but am currently rebuilding it to a Fast Road Spec (Fiberglass Panels, Stage 3 Engine, Uprated suspension and geometry kit with minimal interior which includes Bucket seats and a classic center Speedo.) My second car which I regrettably had to sell on was a 2004 Facelifted BMW E46 3 series, this car was my pride and joy but unfortunately was WAY too thirsty, It was a blast to drive and got me into (and out of) so many hair raising situations! Really was a shame to get rid of it, but now here I am... Going to be a proud owner of yet another Mini.. be it a modern MINI I look forward to the day where I receive delivery of my purchase.

I really look forward to sharing in this purchase with all of you.

Look forward to hearing how the ONE drives. One thing is sure, it will be great!
When I get it I will definitely let you all know, I'm guessing it will drive very similarly to the Cooper because they both weigh about the same, just slower.

Welcome Paul!

You'll have to post some pics of your F56 next to the 1983 Mayfair :nerd:
Cheers mate, oh and that will probably be the first thing I do when I get it!

ty ty, I'm going through the one on the A127 in Leigh on Sea.
The insurance on the ONE is £10 a month cheaper than the Cooper, so about £120 cheaper over the year... not masses but still a saving!

Welcome and great spec! The One is proving to be a really popular model. It will be good to hear road test views. :)
