New to the forums, been reading over the threads for a couple months now and thought I would say hi!

I ordered a Volcanic Orange (Go Team VO!) Mini Cooper S on May 22nd and expecting to receive it in the next week or so (it is arriving in Halifax on August 15th). The wait is killing me!!

Options I went with were: Black Roof and Mirror Caps, Black Bonnet Stripes, Fully Loaded Package (includes: Dynamic Damper Control, Comfort Access, Auto Dimming Interior Mirror, Rain Sensor w/ Auto Headlamps, Automatic Climate Control, Panorama Sunroof, Front and Rear Fog Lights, On-Board Nav, Integrated Visual Display, Bluetooth and USB Audio, Mini Connected, Wired Package, Front Arm Rest), LED Lights Package, Carbon Black Leatherette, 17" Black Cosmos', Alarm System, Anthracite Roofliner and Harman Kardon Sound System.

Can't wait for the call from the dealership to pickup my Mini!

Somehow I forgot that heated seats were included too. Need to warm up that backside on those cold canadian winter days.

Really wish I had gone with the heated front windscreen... just felt the wallet couldn't take any more. Oh well.

Another Ottawa member here. Ordered a couple of weeks ago and awaiting confirmation that my car went into production this week.

I DID get the heated front windscreen. I had one on a Mondeo when I lived in the UK and they are brilliant. Should be great for those freezing rain days when the wipers and windscreen want to freeze up no matter how high you've cranked the defrost...

The heated seats, mirrors and washer jets are standard in Canada, but set you back several hundred as the "winter package" in the US. Combine that with our 16" standard wheels vs 15" in the US (and the 10% currency difference) and I think we actually come out ahead on the MRSP for a change.

I was tempted by the VO, but went with British Racing Green in the end.

Have you had any update on when you might take delivery? Must be getting close!!

I work downtown and live in the west end -- I'll be sure to wave if I see you around.

Hi Braetek - sorry I've only just spotted your reply. Yes, small world indeed! I love it over there - I could live on only eating TimBits and Dairy Queen haha!

We're planning a trip over to Ottawa next summer - It'll be nice to see some F56's around

Ottawa is popular! I'm in the UK but visited Ottawa last year - I have a friend in Montréal so have toured both Ontario and Québec, unfortunately not in a MINI though!
