I've got a blazing red cooper S.
Only had it about 2 weeks and I have to say I'm loving it.

Ahhh wicked, i passed a Red S in Cardiff about a month ago, Im from Brecon, I'm in Cardiff 2 - 3 times a week. give us a flash if you see a VO Cooper S going like the clappers!!

Hey Guys, Another Cooper S from South Wales

I've got a 15 plate 3door in Thunder Grey. I work in Cardiff but live near Ystrad Mynach so I drive up the A470 Everyday.
Be cool to organise a photo shoot for us

I don't live in Wales but have friends who do, is the A470 the one that runs up from the M4 to Brecon or the one from Brecon to Myther? The first is a great road although need to look out for the boys in blue

That's the one! a great road to drive on, when you've driven it day in day out you learn where they might be. I drove it in full last Sunday with my GoPro attached to the front end.

A newbie from Neath here - not bought a Cooper S yet but busy looking for a 2014 F56. That road from Pontypridd up to Merthyr and beyond is a dream road once you get the throttle right, just lifting the throttle will carry you through those gentle S bends with barely a touch on the steering wheel - superb in both directions as it happens.

Not a lot of action on this section of the forum - but at least we are breathing.

Volcanic Orange Cooper S here -and the wife's got a blue one! Near Bridgend! So there are a few of around, I even see a Volcanic Orange Cooper S now and again parked by Robert Price Merchants in Bryncethin!

Great stuff. Surprised I haven't seen you as I drive up and down the link road from Cardiff bay most days, actually stuck in traffic most days doing around 20 to 40 mph! ha ha.


It would be great to compare cars as I am not too happy with the brakes. Takes a lot of effort to get them to bit hard. Not sure if this is normal for this car.
