Well I did it. I've just ordered my very first Mini. Test drove a Cooper and found myself grinning for the whole 40 mins! What an amazingly fun car to drive.

I've ordered:

Cooper in Volcanic Orange with Black roof, mirrors and bonnet strips. Black 'Victory' alloys. The Chilli pack and the Media pack.

Options selected:

HUD
LED lights with cornering function
LED fogs
Anthracite lining
Dimming rear view mirror
Parking sensors
Folding wing mirrors
Heated windscreen

Just waiting on suggested delivery date now. Though I'm told to assume September. I'm not sure I can wait that long!

Same as my MCS but I don't have LEDs (but I do have seated seats for the cold Aberdeen winters!)

Ah, the HUD. My inner geek made that selection and from all that I've read, it was definitely the right choice

I have to admit, I hesitated with the Volcanic Orange. I nearly went with the Red. Sooo pleased I didn't. It looked great in the showroom.

HUD is just about the best option you can spec in my opinion.

you would of needed to tick the right combination of boxes in an alternating pattern of X's and O's done with the left hand, signed with your toes accompanied by a solemn swear that you're up to no good! But you'll need to know someone in the know...
