Hi there

I am planning on upgrading my visual boost system with new under seat subs and front door speakers. I'm gathering as much info as possible on this topic and want to know if the visual boost system has an amp or if it's solely run off the head unit. If it does have an amp, please could someone tell me where it would be located? It doesn't seem to be in the rear side pockets (in the boot), but I have a feeling it will be behind the dash if the subs don't have integrated amps.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks :)

There is no seperate amp. It seems most people take the feed from the speaker wires going to the underseat speakers. These speakers and the door speakers are wired in parallel to present the built in amp with a 2 ohm load. Knowing the bean counters at Mini both types of speaker probably both get a full range signal.
