So after my first car’s (a heavily used 2002 mazda protege) transmition died like 2 weeks after buying it for dirt cheap off a relative i was feeling way more confident in my driving skills than when i started driving and by then i had saved up a bit and i had better job security so as a student i had a bunch of good opportunities for car loans that i could easily afford so now all i had to do was pick a car. After a bit of browsing local car dealers i found a used automatic 2013 countryman s. Price was good, condition seemed good, the mileage wasn’t the best but man was it fun to drive! So i pulled the trigger and got it. I really like this car and i want to make it last so i want to take care of it. I already do stuff like only using premium gas and being careful in the road with it (although i do enjoy turning on sports mode when the highway is empty so i can just zoom across it like its nothing) BUT realistically speaking im far from a “car guy” much less a mini expert so i wanted to know if theres a specific routine or maintenance list i should follow or at least be aware of so i could really maximize the life out of this little car.
Any advice, tips or help is appreciated!

Hey, glad to hear your enjoying your Mini! I also purchased mine not too long ago. Well, I guess it's been 2 years but time flies when you're having fun!
What's the current mileage on your Countryman? There should be a maintenance schedule that specifies what should be done and when.
This might be a good reference: What is the MINI Cooper Maintenance Schedule? | Motorwerks MINI
If you haven't yet (or if you don't have maintenance records on the car), I'd recommend having it inspected by a good mechanic, they should be able to tell you anything that you might want to go ahead and look at taking care of.
What is your location if you don't mind sharing? Maybe someone on here could recommend a good shop for minis near you.

Welcome to the club! They are great cars.
