Hi from Manchester!
Quick car background - I used to have a 2007 R56 Cooper Hatch. Absolutely loved it, great fun to drive! I then had a slight blip when I changed it for a Vauxhall Corsa 1.4 SXi. I spec'd it up but still can't get over the fact its just dull to drive, and isn't a Mini.
When the new F56 was launched I immediately had to go and test drive it. Needless to say, 2 weeks later and after sorting the numbers with the dealership, I've got a sparkly new Cooper Petrol on order!
Specs are -
Volcanic Orange with Black roof/mirrors
16" Victory Wheels in Black
Black bonnet stripes
Chrome line exterior
Chili Pack
Visual Boost Radio w/Enhanced Bluetooth
Piano Black interior
Centre Armrest
LED headlights
The dealer's been really upfront from the beginning about the extra delays on build times, so once the order was in at the start of april, they were able to give me a current delivery date of end of June/start of July. Also offered to take in my Corsa in the next few weeks and give me a car from their forecourt til my new F56 is delivered, so at least I'll be back in a Mini again soon!
