Even though the car is not for me, as I am the one that paid for it, I must have some rights over it. :laugh:
Ordered an Electric Blue 3-Door Mini (not S) for my daughter's 16th birthday and she is thrilled waiting for the car. I can see the car was build by entering the VIN number at the BMW VIN Decoder site but no info yet on the shipping. Expecting to get the car sometime in June.
She got the Navigation/Wired packages and something else that I have no clue. Black roof, black mirrors and regular 16" wheels as far as I can tell.
I am sure she will have a blast driving it around. Well when I am not driving it I mean. >

Oh yeah! I want to take some nice pics when she goes to pick it up. Plan is to buy her the mini stuff like travel bags/luggage/etc and put it in the car.
We cannot wait.

I placed the order in Ottawa on March, 28th. Got the VIN number and the confirmation it was built on April, 30th, so around a month later. From what I read usually the car is on the boat a week later so I am hoping I will be able to track it sometime next week!

I see! I guess my car will be here approx a month after you have received yours. I still haven't received the VIN nor the production number from my dealership yet. Hopefully I will get it soon!! :|

New MINI owner here although experienced with BMWs and this car certainly feels like a smaller, kookier BMW.
