Welcome! Definitely get some pics on the Gallery and don't forget to update your 'My Garage' on there 
I'd imagine with the iPhone playback, it's just a case of changing the audio source or switching the radio off ...at least that's how it works in my current car. I'm still waiting for my Mini to arrive.
