Hi, i have the 'welcome' lights set to come on when in the auto mode which works well, i also have the 'home' lights set for 10s.... Am i right in thinking the that he lights should stay on for 10s when i get out of the car & lock the car........ Mine doesnt the indicators just come on !

They should do. Just found this written online:-

if you turn off your engine before you turn off your lights, the lights stay on for a pre-set period (40 seconds) & then automatically turn off. this is to allow you to find your way to your door in the dark. if you turn off your lights & then your engine, the lights go out straight away as normal.

On previous models you switched off the engine, then pulled back on the indicator stalk momentarily, ie 'flashed' for lights, for high beam lights to activate 'home' lights. I,m not sure reading the above, if this is still the case.

That would make sense so that you can easily not activate the function, i.e. if you don't want to draw attention to yourself.
