The problem with these is when I cleaned the inside of the car I'd be thinking. must do it quick so as not to run the battery down.
After they are activated to turn on, they have a built in timer which turns them off so you don't really need to worry about this.
Also one thing to mention if you are doing a self install, wear gloves or use a towel when you pull off the old sills as they are thin aluminium with sharp edges. I cut up my hand pretty good taking off the first one!
