So I had some nasty, stubborn bug splatter on my F57 windshield and remembered how well 0000 steel wool works after deep cleaning my previous car. I started slowly, cautiously, and out of sightline just to be sure it was good. It was, it worked absolutely fine. But some of the water spots I couldn't get seems to be on the INSIDE of the window and (you can see where this is going) I thoughtlessly reached around and gave them a good scrub.

OMFG THERE'S TINT ON THE WINDSHIELD INTERIOR OBVIOUSLY AND I SCRATCHED IT TO HELL

Is this a completely hopeless situation, with no resolution besides all new tint?? And being on an OEM windshield will a tint shop even THINK about doing it?? It's not a safety issue, at least I don't think so but won't know until I'm in daylight again. But it's bruising my damn soul and I feel sooooo stupid right now. They're very fine scratches would hitting it with heat or SOME kind of buff or wax minimize them?
