This was the little gem that popped up on my centre display tonight at half past 5 when stopping to collect a Chinese.
Numerous phone calls later BMW Emergency are not available so MINI Assistance (or Elf Rescue as I prefer to call them) have instructed a Recovery to collect my car and take it to my dealer in the morning ( the contractor hasn't got the latest software for our model seemingly). Apparently they are coming from Birmingham (an hours drive away). In the meanwhile Enterprise have contacted me to organise my loan car which will be here at about 10.30pm tonight).
Oh the joys of F56 ownership.

Gone from bad to worse. The car did not arrive with the dealer until 4pm. When they went to drive it into the workshop apparently the dash lit up like the starship enterprise with fault codes. Ignition /starter fault, Pedestrian collision activation, rear brake pad wear to name just a few. They will check it out properly in the morning and sounds like they will be getting onto the factory.

Thanks,
It probably hasn't done my car a lot of good being towed on a spectacle lift for nearly a hundred miles - not happy about that. I know wonder if my automatic collision avoidance on the open road is connected to this latest meltdown.
