Input needed on catch cans please?
My rig has 52K taking in for a carbon clean with the walnut method

#1 Should a can be added after ?

Looking at a BSH or any ideas

I'm new so be easy lol

Honestly you may have better luck posting this question on another forum site. This site is focused on the F56 and 3rd gen MINIs and as such, won't have as many people that are familiar with the 2nd gen MINIs like you have. Carbon build up hasn't been as much of a problem since the 2nd gen LCI refresh when they switched engines.

If you are r56 there are loads of kits available….let me know if you need a link…. Does anyone know if there is any catch can kits for f56 b38?

Not aware of any coking issues so no catch can needed-but happy to be corrected
Thank you for taking the time to reply…the reason for asking is My daughters b38 was coked, I had to replace the turbo as the waste gate wasn’t opening. I heard being direct injection that they suffer coke up and need walnut blasting similar to the infamous n54 and n55 BMW 335i engines…could be true but also could be linked to the old cat was not working. Now replaced cat too
