Hi all,

I'm new here. I had a 13 plate MINI Cooper but unfortunately it was written off in January (not my fault & I'm so sad I've lost it). I've ordered a new 2014 MINI Cooper, delivery estimated mid-end April.

Has anyone managed to get a proper car insurance quote for the new F56 Cooper? I've tried MINI website & Go Compare but neither have got the new one in the list.

How much are your quotes coming up at?

Thanks in advance! :)

I got a quote for ours through compare the market. It came out at a very reasonable £183...that is for a Cooper S though

Yes, seems abit of an own goal with MINI Insurance : my dealer has just emailed a link to me so I can get their free 7 day cover so he can tax my new F56. When I try, the new models aren't included on the drop down list for the variants .

I was quite pleased. My 2017 Cooper S insurance is $9 less than my 2004 Mazda MX5 at $89 a month. I moved the MX5 over to a separate classic car insurance for $300 a year.
