Hi

Just upgraded my iPhone 6s Plus to iOS 10. Having an issue with the Bluetooth on my F57 without enhanced Bluetooth.

When I connect phone to car via BT it starts a continual call to my own number. Now I know this is the phones way of basically listening via the microphone. Usually this is linked to having Hey Siri on. But I have it turned off. Similar issues in my R60 as well

My wife's phone a iphone6 plus doesn't.

I have deleted phone and repaired but the issue remains, and ideas?

Thanks

I haven't been able to spend too much time with it today, but it so far seems to be working normal with my Enhanced Bluetooth.

okay so i've made some progress by resetting network settings it seems not to be permanently shut out. However, I do get a music cut and "external dialogue" screen message in the car when the phone locks.

I found that after upgrading to ios10, the track controls on the steering wheel don't move the songs forward/back as they once did. This is with Apple Music. The other thing I've found now is that when I select songs in my phone (not streaming via Apple Music) the album doesn't auto play when I select a track (I have to press play on my phone).

Is Spotify better than Apple for streaming via the enchanced Bluetooth? I might swap to Spotify if it is!

I'm pretty sure Spotify only works on a wired connection using the lightning/USB lead but the integration is excellent. You still don't get the steering wheel track change though oddly, only via the stereo buttons or software buttons on screen.

I occasionally have problems with the iphone getting glitchy, i find a combination of either/both a phone hard restart or re-set the bluetooth connection fixes this.

I have the same issue. If I try to change tracks using the buttons on the steering, the display behind it says "track 0" and the track does not change. I am only able to change tracks using the keys < and > on the center console, under the main screen.

I connect my iPhone 6 running iOS 10.0.1 via cable to the USB port. :-(

anyone got a fix or workaround?

If you are facing any Bluetooth issue in your iPhone 6S after upgrading to iOS 10, then this issue can be fixed easily with some manual ways. You can also try the below steps tp solve this issue:

Okay, I seem to be another iPhone 6S, iOS 10 user with problems on my new F56 JCW.
On Bluetooth, if I were to switch from the inbuilt Music App to Spotify, the phone would be playing but the iDrive system would lock up, and no audio can be heard. Then it will crash and restart.

Never had a problem with my Audi and Honda.

That is definitely something you'll want to have the dealer look at, especially if it happens consistently. I had a similar problem and a reprogram fixed the issue. Worst case is you may be looking at a new headunit, but it would be covered under warranty.

Happens in my convertible too... Sometimes mid phone call - the system crashes and reboots.

Spotify is very hit and miss, sometimes you get in the car and it works, sometimes it doesn't. Usually restarting the phone fixes this, but it's a pain. I'm using the cradle in the armrest, not a USB cable.

So they have replaced my entire head unit, with I assume the latest software. Used it for 2 days, while in Nav mode it suddenly crashed while it was trying to render the upcoming view which had 3D buildings.

Feels like the system does not have enough memory causing the problems I'm seeing.
