I'm currently using a brodit which is actually for the clubman and fits on the right hand screen pillar - worlds really well - I think it may fit the F56 but not in mine as I've specced HK speakers so will be looking for an alternative

I just got the iOttie flex 3 from amazon. It has a suction cup that is also sticky, and I was worried about mounting it on the dash and causing a mark, as there are some photos on amazon that show this. So I found a good spot on the top left of the big center circle. Even though it is curved, the sticky cup fits well, sticks well, and is in perfect position. I can snap a pic later if you are interested.

I've got the Brodit set up in my current car too, thankfully won't need it in the MINI with Media pack :)

I've just found the same thing on page 19 of the 03/14 mini accessories brochure from the mini website.

I just emailed my very helpful sales assistant at the dealership to see if it's available in the UK and how much it costs.

Passed a dealer today so popped in to ask about the click and drive system.

For the bracket and the iphone holder the cost is £167.50 !!!

Think I'll wait for Brodit to come up with something.

Julian, could you post a pic please !
Sure! I am really happy with it. It unstuck after the first couple of days but I think it was because the suction cup was dirty from me trying many different spots. It is one of those non-adhesive "sticky" materials that replenishes when you rinse it off with water. I did so and re-stuck it in this spot and it has held snug for over a week parking in hot parking lots. It is low profile yet can be angled just about any way you want. I'm happy with it!

Hi Julian
How is the iottie working out?
Can you post pics because Dropbox links aren't working?
Thanks!

I purchased the "Click and Drive". Used a $100 voucher that Mini sent me because of gear shift knob issues. (I never experienced said issues) So, I paid $50 for the kit. The guys in the shop (Mini Dealer) had never installed one before so, they filmed the install and there was no charge, it's normally $140 which is an hours labor where I live. It comes with instructions and is easy to install. The speedo comes off with two screws, install the C&D, reattach speedo, run two wires to the fuse box and thats it. The biggest pain looked to be the removal of a couple of panels and I didn't want to deal with that. Mini sells several holders to use with the Click and Drive, iPhone 4&5 and Samsung Galaxy ? It also sells a portable Nav that attaches to the kit. That's what I use it for. I already had the Nav (Garmin 3597) and the Garmin ball/socket that is included with the Click and Drive fit perfect. I have an iPhone 6 so, I'm waiting for the Mini branded holder and see how it looks.

Yes they have. Take a look at my album. I have one in my F56. It's from ProClip USA, but it is a Brodit.

Thanks Oost, I took Julian's advice and bought the iOttie flex 3 from amazon. Works really well and sits nicely on the dash.
