I use a 4th generation Ipod.

It just plugs straight in to the USB port via the white cable.

I didn't even know it had voice command though lol

Thanks folks - have a 4gen iPod nano - so back to the drawing board I guess as it just sits there when plugged in for over an hour saying either 'not supported' or 'reading...'

Sorry for the hijack, but does anyone else's iPod sound crap via USB? I have a 5th gen classic, and it sounds really weedy in my Cooper S, whereas my iPhone via bluetooth or lightening sound good, as does the radio (still not berilliant - kinda wish there was a Bose option somewhere between nothing and the £500 HK system).
