Hey- I have a 2019 Oxford edition. Super frustrating that it doesn't come with CarPlay. The only thing I've found that might work is the following

I want to thank sb2002 and ndal2 for helping me get Full Screen Wireless CarPlay on my 2021 Mini Cooper Countryman Oxford Edition base model. It was deactivated from factory and with their handy coding capabilities is working flawlessly.

I think it should be the same as yours. Whatever comes with the 6.5" standard screen. Did the countryman come with the 8.8" screen?

They guys are the best! Steve and Ndal just helped me with 2019 Countryman Base model.. I bought the FSC codes and Ndal coded Sirius & Car play for me.

Thank you sb2002 and ndal for your help with getting CarPlay activated on my 2021 Mini Countryman Oxford edition. The process was simple and effortless for me. Perhaps the only thing that took time was waiting for my Amazon order for the cable and the antenna. Everything was effortless and smooth! Thank you so very much.

Marvin, these guys are the best! The did my 19 countryman activated car play and Sirius satellite radio. Enjoy!!!

worked with sb2002 and ndal2 this morning. Great working with them and easy to achieve the CarPay result. The antenna ($10) took 30 mins to install (took it slowly to avoid any damage). and the SW update took another 45 minutes. I am returning the OBD Cable ($30) back to Amazon. Nice work guys!

I just bought a 2021 Countryman Oxford edition as well. Does the Maps in the carplay work? are you able to use the map now on the screen?

Yes, you can use google maps or Apple amps even Waze.

Hi! New member, just purchased a 2020 Mini Countryman S. I have the smaller screen (6.5 in) and while I love the car, but it sucks to not have Apple CarPlay. Any chance of being able to install it? Not liking the pricey aftermarket head units I’ve seen. Thanks!

Reach out to Sb2002 and he will let you know what you need to get Car play up and running in your vehicle. He has helped many with this issue that BMW/Mini will tell you is not possible. You dont have to buy an mmi module or a car play module from china. Read the entire thread and you will see how many people he has helped.
