That is for a portable navigation system that attaches onto the back of the speedometer.
I have the Click n Drive installed in my 2014 Hardtop. I have the Garmin Nuvi system but, Mini sells holders for iPhone 4 & 5 and I believe some Samsung models also. It works fairly well. You can detach the Nuvi and hide it in the glove compartment. The click and drive also has a USB port so you can charge your phone/Nuvi. It is also adjustable for viewing. The last time i looked, it was selling for $150. The instructions state that it takes 0.7 hours to install so it should be an hours labor. You can do it yourself if you know your way around a car. Some of the panels need to be dismantled. I had the dealer do it. It took about an hour and, it works perfect. The kit does come with instructions. Two connections to the fuse box and your done. I just didn't have time to take out panels and the such.

Hey,

Can you tell me how is this sat nav kit powered? I am wandering if this thing is contented to the cigarette socket or is it powered somehow differently?

Regards,
Krys
