Looking to fit this part to my Mini One: http://www.minigenuineparts.co.uk/mini-parts/info_BM32_30_6_864_894.html

It says on the website that it fits all F56's but just thought I'd check here first as I think i saw a post previously where it didnt fit a particular model for some reason.

Also, if this will fit, does anyone know how to fit it?

Looks like it should fit, shape and size seem to be the same.

Guess it's just a matter of "snap off, snap on" but could be wrong. Just call your dealer and ask if you want to be sure, they should know.

On the previous generation cars, you have to take the airbag off first and then this trim clips off/on. Removing the airbag on a R56 is easy once you find the hole behind the bottom spoke at six o'clock, so I'd look there on the new F56 also. Just to be safe, it makes sense to disconnect the earth lead on the battery so that the airbag cannot go off - though I think that's not much more likely than being struck by lightning....
