I asked my salesman today about installing these side stripes at the dealership. He said they could do them, his installer is excellent and they warranty them - labor is about $100. He balked a little though and said I may want to live with the car a little before I decide because he thought they could be "busy." "Sometimes less is more," he said. He asked me if I looked at them on the Configurator and I said yeah I thought they looked cool, but of course it's not the same as viewing them in person. He wasn't sure if the $92 on the Mini site was for one side or both. Does anyone know the answer?
I've been trolling this site for 3 months and haven't seen any pics or specs with these stripes, so I'm assuming they're not popular. I'm on the fence - I thought when the VOs with stripes overwhelm my local roadways mine will stand out! But I don't want to commit the sin of being too "busy" - I'll already be going fast!
