Hello everyone. I'm looking for some details on the tuning kit and what's included exactly.

I know it includes tune/reflash, full exhaust, and a remote to control the exhaust, but was wondering about the intake and anything else that's included.

it looks like everything but the intake from what I've read. I plan on calling the dealership tomorrow and double checking.....hoping I can keep the credit card in the pocket

I was just at the dealers unpacking the box, it includes full exhaust(without tips), ECU flash, bluetooth remote control, some badges, works certificate for car file. No intake

So it looks like all the exhaust gets you is a switch so that you can change the setting from "normal car" to "annoy the neighborhood/Boy Racer".

Does anyone have performance specs for the JCW exhaust? Does it actually do anything besides drain money from your wallet?

I am originally from Rochester as well, but currently located overseas for the next couple of years.

Did you get the re-tune kit for the S or non S?

Had an interesting chat today with my local Mini dealer regarding the F56 / JCW Pro Tuning Upgrade.

Apparently stock now in UK (100+units shown available) but at present dealers can not order.
Price quoted to me for the kit (Exhaust / ECU re program and I think air filter mod) was £1,600 inc vat with labour (un quoted) as an additional cost.

Also in addition you will require the exhaust tips (Chrome £80 each tip / Carbon Fibre £192 each tip - asked them to check as that seems expensive and wonder if this is in fact priced as a pair!).

Further to my message regarding costing, can confirm no air filter mod and the price mentioned is per tip so need to x 2 on my figures for these.

I rang my dealer today, to see if I can get just the ECU flash installed as already have a Remus exhaust fitted..
Waiting for them to get back with an answer... Apparently the ECU is just a code that's obtained from Mini UK..

So the exhaust was installed today, but unfortunately I won't be able to take my car back until the 7th of February. The airbag and restraint system ECU is on order to the factory and won't be available until beginning of Feb, therefore I have to wait until then. All this because of an update applied to my car. A week later and my brake pads are still not available. BMW Hellas has ****** up big time. Im so frustrated.

I will be going to the dealers today to hear the sound of the car, and maybe take it for a short ride.
