The MINI John Cooper Works concept is being billed by MINI as a close-to-production model. This concept is meant to preview the all-new 2015 MINI Cooper. It stands out from its regular-production counterpart with its hand-polished Bright highways Grey paint job with contrasting Chili Red accents, black trim around the radiator grille, aggressive bumpers with large air dams and a roof-mounted spoiler.

The look is finished off with low-profile tires mounted on 18-inch five-spoke alloy wheels, side skirts and bespoke emblems.

We still don't have pictures of the interior, so look for those to show up sometime in the future. We also don't know what is powering the MINI John Cooper Works concept. Rumors suggest that there may be a turbo-charged four-cylinder engine that sends out over 210 horsepower and 200 lb-ft of torque to the front wheels via a six-speed manual transmission, enabling the hatchback reach 62 mph from a stop in a little under six seconds.

The John Cooper Works concept also has a sport-tuned suspension and upgraded Brembo brakes all around help the driver exploit the engine's full potential.

The production version should be on full display at March's Geneva Motor Show, and should go on sale next fall as a 2015 model.

I am loving the color theme for the exterior this time around, the 18" wheels with the tiple tones definitely puts on a statement. too bad there isn't any interior pictures, would have been nice to get a sneak peek

I guess it works for some but yes it might be an acquired taste.

yea thats what I was thinking, which is baffling because its been termed concept....

perhaps the fascias or the wheels will be toned down?

I like the exhaust but I'm not a huge fan of the rims. Will this actually be sold eventually? Or is this just a concept?
