After working out how much money I have lost over the past 19 years, on car ownership depreciation, I've started looking at Personal Leasing options, as the balloon payment will be due on my car in 12 months time and it's as much as my other half paid for her used Clubby S, which I really like driving.

Taking a Pack 3 Mini Electric at 8k miles pa, with a 3 month (ish) downpayment and a 4 year lease period (about the time I am getting bored with my car) the official Mini site is quoting £450+ pcm, whereas someone like Nationwide Vehicle Leasing are down at £375 pcm? How can Mini Finance be so far off the mark with their pricing models? Anyone have experience of this way of 'having' a car and what are the pitfalls or what am I missing with the 2 examples above?
