I have a iPod Classic 5th generation with 160GB. On it are 10000 songs (now, I startet first test with 16000). When I connect it to the Mini USB Port it stops reading the songs after about 12000 songs, then the iPod crashes and has to be replaced by apple. Did this twice, and am now on my third iPod

So i thougt, let's try it with an USB-Stick. Same problem. Does anyone know if there is a limit on what a Mini can handle. Songwise, MB-Wise, Playlist-Wise?

Mine stopped short of the total number of songs that I had too and I thought there was something amiss, but lo and behold they all downloaded. Once I started playing them back, the correct number of songs was listed. However, I didn't attempt 10,000 songs!
