I can do all this with my iPhone on a $30 bracket and some want to spend hundreds if not thousands on over priced inbuilt computers and screens in cars. It won't be long before this is all banned from being used while driving.

The cost of cell calls now is so cheap I usually wait until I stop or plan part of the day to return calls or make it hard for people to reach me on the phone so they email or text me as I reply faster to those than returning calls. Plus I never remember what the **** I was talking about by the time I stop driving. I do use Siri at times to send a text and it works well.

Ok sure, but regardless it's awesome. Now you can set up two GoPro's and view one on your navi and the other on your phone. Cool little feature.

Not at all. Mini should spend the money and fix the auto in the Cooper.

If you want you can fix 50 go pros to your Mini and run them all of the iPhone. If you are really a tool you could film yourself driving :nerd:

Standard Cooper not S. Auto has bad dead spot when first taking off.

Aha. Never got a chance to test drive a justa. Dealer only had S's in when I went to test drive and order. Fell in love.

A shame as the Cooper 3 pot has a fantastic sounding engine and after driving the Cooper and Cooper S manual's I would buy the Cooper manual. For a drivers car like the Mini you would have to go with a manual not a slush box.

Now VW has repaired the auto in my wife's Polo i'm going to wait for the convertible Cooper. Mini say should be in NZ March.

Blark mate, that looks about the most fun you could have in your mini with your pants still on! Better believe my pal and I are heading out with his gopro when that app drops.

Does any one know if the mini connected XL has wifi. The info states you need a GPPRO hero3+ but this does not have bluetooth only the hero 4s have bluetooth, the 3+ only has wifi.

I think the GOPRO connects via an iPhone but can any one confirm

Th car doesnt have any wifi as such, all connection is via mobile/ cell data connection

From what I have read, you connect the GoPro to your phone, by WiFi, and then you connect your phone to the MINI by Bluetooth.
