On my long trip to PA, it really was nice when spending between 5 and 6 hours on the road to have my twitter feed read out loud to me... a nice diversion. I actually like that one.
The facebook functionality was a total joke, though. For one thing, it had major issues updating the feed. It would pull in three FB posts... per day... in spite of convincing itself that it was actively updating. And trying to listen to those 3 posts was futile... especially given the fact that nobody on FB every actually posts words anymore, just recycle some picture they found amusing. I get nothing out of hearing my feed read out to me as, "file attachment". I did have some success with posting the little canned updates, but everyone else was unamused with reading what the temperature was and how far I had left to go. The Facetube app was a waste of precious, precious electrons... no great loss.
And, as I've said elsewhere, the web search function has proved to be much better than I ever expected. I'm still playing with that and finding it more and more convenient and accurate as I go.
