MINI did a great job with this video which explains the efficiency features of the new MINI Cooper. The video emphasizes that the MINI has always been efficient. It was born out of an energy crisis, so efficiency is really at the heart of MINI.

The video explains the 3 driving modes, as well as start/stop, and a feature that gives you tips on how to drive more efficiently.

The one thing that isn't explained is why one customer who does a testimonial is wearing a medieval costume. That's what I want to know.

Hmm, the presenter states that when start/stop is enabled, the engine will re-start when the brake pedal is lifted. This is different to my R56 Dooper that will start the engine when I press the clutch. I assume this is because he is referring to automatics ?

Right. On F56 with manual transmission, the engine also starts when you clutch.
