Just read this...

I hate to be negative but I am quite disappointed by this from the BMW Group.

Yes totally pointless. I'm interested in the safety of the cell not silly devices that may or may not prevent a crash.
Reading up on the details it got 79 front 73 side. Best in class make late 80, 90 s so don't think they will be overly happy but it's not too bad. Profiteroles seemed ok!
Totally agree uke, this is how I ride the motorbike, assume they are out to get you and they'll do what you least expect

Me too two in the family. Cars are marked down for silly reasons and I have to say I don't very often see pedestrians on my roads!
Exactly the same here Luke. Tiny bit of ice and they all slide off. They seem to think the car will stop and go the same in ice or snow or wet as it does in the dry. Drives me nuts. Then they say, I wasn't speeding. No but you weren't driving according to conditions. Here in the uk I think it is a fault of the driving test as they hammer you for not 'making good progress" trouble is new drivers haven't the experience to then be cautious when they need to be. I'd much rather someone be doing 20_25 mph in a busy town than30 regardless. Mind the reverse applies on a clear road get a move on! Ah what it is to be perfect, (joke)

I think people are too wrapped up and rush round too much to think these days and as you say there's the problem. They don't! Thank you for the kind remark!
