Hi All

I was poking around cars.com and noticed that the black MiniYours Lounge Leather Option materialized along with the option to build the JCW mini. I imagine these are mid year changes but wanted to know if anyone knew when the black miniyours leather was going to be available for order in the US. I know it is available in EU now.

Here is where you can build the JCW mini and/or where you can see the new black miniyours lounge leather option: (select a model and go to options, then scroll down to seat trim and notice there is no invoice price yet)

In the US it says the price is $2,250 (versus $1,750 for regular lounge leather) but there is no invoice price yet (ie it is not yet available) and it is not on the mini us site.

I am just wondering when it will be available for order.

It comes with union jack stitched head rests, and hand sewn miniyours emblems on the sides of the seats as well as little union jack symbols on the front and back. Very high quality!

It's been available for a while, but the configurator is always laughably behind and inaccurate. It is still missing the Active Driving Assistant, which has been available for order since at least September.

That being said, I have yet to see them in the wild and pictures from other owners seem to be few and far between. The $500 premium over the regular lounge leather may have something to do with it.

Do you know what the option ordering code for them is? I cannot find it anywhere.
For the Active Driving Assist? It's 5AS and requires Park Assist, the Fully Loaded package, and the Wired Upgrade package

Or did you mean the seats? The seats are TY

By the way I figured out why you cannot get the JCW exterior pkg with the active driving assistant.

The active driving assistant requires the fully loaded pkg on the base/s model hardtop (not sure why because the JCW hardtop does not require it to get 5AS) and the fully loaded pkg includes the sport pkg. The JCW exterior pkg cannot be ordered in combination with the sport pkg and that is why you cannot get the active driving assistant with the fully loaded pkg. STUPID!

If nothing else I really want the road sign recognition. It is pretty sophisticated; It has memory and can learn which signs to show you and not show based on relativity. Nothing worse that not knowing the speed limit out of town.

My VWs showed the speed on the nav, but it was pre-programmed and often wrong
