Aware that i'm new here but just a thought that might help answer a lot of questions from newbie orderers that the current drivers might be able to answer.... a thread where everyone posts their model, when they ordered it, whe the dealer originally promised it and when they actually got it....

Mine is

MC(Petrol)...12 Jul 14...10 Sep 14...Not yet got


Perhaps after a few entries we can get an average per model!

Good idea
A little different for our car as it was ordered before the launch so had an inbuilt wait time.

Ordered Jan 11th 2014 built March 21st took delivery March 26th 2014.

Our MCS in the best colour (VO) ordered 14 June, estimated delivery 1 September
Have been told that it could possibly be here the last week in August but we are waiting for the '64 plate.
Looks like September could be the start of VO world domination?

Our MCP is the best colour, (BR), and was ordered on 31st March and picked it up on 30th May.
Earlier than dealer predicted. (Fairbairn in Kirkcaldy.)

Some of you will be sick and tired of me restating my order date of 04 April and I have been told 19 August for delivery. I cannot understand why orders placed 2-3 months after me are getting deliveries around the same time. I can't tell you how p****d off I feel....normally I just float along and occasionly I have a rant like now and then feel more relaxed.....lol.....

Ordered 28th April. Promised week 28 build (7th July). Put back by 7 weeks, I threatened to pull out. Next day bought forward to week 29. Built 16th July. Currently awaiting delivery to dealer some time this week.

Update... 1200 status, build week 32 (was week 35) Delivery 20 Aug (was 10 Sep)
Dealer going to hold on to it till 1 Sept so it will be a 64 plate

To anyone who's experiencing delays - we have a closed Facebook group called 'I want my mini cooper', feel free to search for it and request to join. It's a great place to vent hour frustrations and maybe find some useful info

Feel exactly the same as you Hove, I actually ordered on the exact same day as you and cannot understand how some people ordering in May already have theirs

Ordered 4 April with Berry Heathrow

They did a googlie on me

And then ordered from Mini Bristol - had a word with Gabby yesterday car is near production mid August and should be with me fingers crossed 1/9/14

Nearly 5 months - he he he beat that.

We are also week 32, delivery for 1/9/14! Looks like they'll be a long line of VOs rolling off that production line? Let's hope they don't get the cars mixed up and we end up with each other's spec? I'm jesting, obviously... Bagsy the one without the sunken bonnet!
