I would like to know what is the best way to listen to music in the car.

I am waiting for my 2015 Mini. I did not get the CD player but it has the Media XL package.

All of my music is on CD's. I am technically challenged and don't know if I should buy an iPod and put music on that. I'm a bit confused because I have heard people talk about listening to music through the USB stick also.

Is there a way to transfer music directly onto the car itself or will I always have to listen to it through a device of some sort? People seem to have problems with how many songs can be played/transferred etc.

Any explanations would be very helpful.

I checked with the dealer today and he said my 2015 Hardtop comes with the internal 20 GB hard drive.

I didn't order it, just got the media XL package.

Am looking into getting an iPod classic with 160GB space, and apparently they don't make them anymore?

Don't need it for anything other than music, so don't need the features that come with the other iPods, such as texting or whatever else.

Any suggestions?

Unfortunately they are about $500 new on Amazon and about half the price for a used one.

Don't know if it's a good idea to buy something like that used?
