My first MINI

Hello All Id like the introduce my car. Im posting from Austin TX, just moved here, lived in Seattle WA my whole life before. It is my first MINI and its a Moonwalk Grey MCS. His name is The Imp (yes named after peter dinklage's character on Game of Thrones)

So far I love the car. My first three cars were MK1 Volkswagen Rabbits so I am partial to Hot Hatches. Below are pictures. I have a quicksilver exhaust system on the way. Plan to change the suspension and add a CAI and call it good.

I already get that sense. One thing that turned me off most about the VW community is all the rude and nasty people that fill their forums

Yep - far too many forums on the internet are like that now. I came on here purely for a bit of advice when I was looking to purchase (particularly on the dizzying array of options for the car!) and have been overwhelmed by the good nature and excellent sharing of information the site has to offer.

Oh ha ha ha! I've just become a senior member! Either that's because I've spent far far too long on here now or everyone's realised it was my birthday only a couple of weeks ago and I am now officially classed as one of the old boys.

We are hoping to visit Austin this year to watch the GP and other stuff. Seems an interesting place.

Quicksilver was installed yesterday, I will do a driving video with the GoPro and upload it

alright heres a quick and dirty video of my new quicksilver exhaust. My work is an authorized quicksilver dealer so if anyone is interested in getting one let me know and we can get it coming and ship it out to you. install time is about 45 minutes.

Congrats, nice looking grey. I lived in Austin for a few years, it's a really nice place to live. It also has some neat hilly, twisty roads that will be fun to drive around (like Bee Cove).

Like Sunster, I started browsing these forums looking to get to know the Mini's features a bit more. I found a really friendly bunch of folks, so I subscribed. It's a great forum.
