Hi all,

I've been waiting almost 4 months since I ordered my 2015 MCS, and the day is finally almost here! I'll be taking delivery next week, and I'd like to know if any of you have any tips/pointers/things I should know before delivery day.

This is my first MINI. It has been a dream of mine for a long time, and I am so excited I can hardly wait! Looking forward to hearing what info you all have to offer!

Take your time to give it a good look over inside and out., including outdoors if possible. Ask the dealer if they have had to rectify anything - they are obliged to tell you. Make sure they run through the order to make sure all your ordered options are there. Dont expect them to explain the operation of every feature, there are way too many but they should cover the main operating features

I just picked up my dream car (first MINI) and the process was pretty smooth. I was a bit nervous to be honest. We just looked over the car and made sure the extra options were there. The dealer went over some stuff, but the main thing for me is getting to know how to use the features.

Find how to lower the windows then next find the Sport mode switch.

Then go and give it some and listen....

Take some one with you to pick it up ... Preferably someone that does not even like MINIs and get them to look at every thing ... In my enthusiasm to get behind the wheel of only my second MINI since the 70s I failed to notice a big dent in the hood!!!
