Thank you to Jonathan for the tip off to Luxemini, I ordered some red bumper stripes straight away and they came last week.

So this week I set to work to fit them myself using the (YouTube) Wet application method, this works well if you're not confident positioning the stickers right first time. But as soon as I fitted the first one I noticed how the sticker overlapped the grill aperture and I couldn't make it stick to the surface because it was wet underneath. This might not be an issue if you apply them dry and stretch the vinyl into the aperture, but I decided to remove the sticker and trim them so they just sat on the flat area around the grill aperture.
This also meant that there was less risk of catching an edge when cleaning around the stickers and eventually losing their adhesion to the bumper.
To trim them I used the old school method of crayon rubbing the bumper through a piece of paper to make a pattern, and in hindsight I should have just bought a piece of (much cheaper) red vinyl off eBay and made them from scratch myself.

Another minor issue with the Luxemini stickers is that compared to the concept mini Jonathan showed, they aren't quite as long so they don't stretch to the inner edge of the front grill aperture (saving on vinyl!) and the red (on BRG) isn't the best match to the Chilli red JCW details either, so just DIY.

Anyhow, you can see in the pics that I have them front and back now and value your opinion, good or bad. All I will say is that I have also fitted the JCW roof spoiler aero tips (sprayed red) and along with the bumper stickers, I am not sure all mods will be staying on the car...

I like it. It suits the front really well. I'm not totally convinced about the rear though, It seems to be missing something to tie it all together. Maybe blacken the chrome rear light surrounds???????

Thanks Cessa you're spot on with your observations, particularly with the red not matching on the bumpers. I'm not keen on de-chroming as I think it's all or nothing and I quite like the chrome on most of the car. It looked better today as I approached the car but maybe I'm getting used to it. I'm very happy with the red spoiler aero tips, it's just the stickers..

I kinda like it although I see what you mean about the colour matching, they seem a lot more vibrant. As Cessa said, they would probably blend in a lot better with gloss black light trims. At the moment there's something about the vibrant red against the chrome which doesn't quite look right...

I really like your striping vetsvette....if I did anything different from my stock JCW bonnet stripes I'd consider that look....it's not too bold yet definitely adds to the overall MINI look! Your color combination is very well done! I assume your red roof is covering as well? And look at that box in the passenger seat....you must have just received more parts goodies before that photo! lol!

No, the roof is painted. The box is a Mini part, but I didn't need it. While I was getting the roof painted I wanted to black out the grill trim too. I had heard from everyone that you can't remove the grill without breaking mounting tabs if you don't remove the front bumper first. So, I ordered a new one for them to paint if that happened. Turned out they removed it with no damage and painted the original, so I returned the new one to my dealer for a refund. My body guy talked me in to painting the hood scoop too while he was spraying black.
Thanks for the complements. I've actually had people stop me on the street and tell me how much they like the combination of colors and stripes.

Hi there,
What a great Mini you have!
I am curious, i have a Mini JCW from 2014, will these mudflaps on the rear fit?
And where can you order these?

Many thanks in advance!
