Hey guys,

Just received an email from MINI Finance UK telling me about their new online service to manage your finance agreement with them - I'm struggling to set it up and get an authentication code, anyone else managed to get it working?

Wondering how much more useful it is than the spreadsheet I laboured over.

I had this as well although not looked...

TBH, I buy a car that I can afford, no idea what or why you need a spreadsheet!

You do the deal at £X per month or pay cash etc. I for one don't buy something if I can't afford it!

I made it so I could see at a glance how far away I am from paying my 34 month payment and take the voluntary hand back and also keep on top of my excess mileage. I can afford my car - calm down.

I haven't tried it yet. I think it *should* be a useful tool for those on finance......if it can give you a current settlement etc.

My monthly invoice from BMW NA always includes a payoff amount so I know exactly where I am. I don't know why you'd need a spreadsheet unless it has something to do with a lease agreement which sometimes can use complicated formulas? Btw, I don't know anybody who buys a new car cash! Well, hardly anyone. Must be nice....for me I'd rather earn more money investing or just having cash on hand when the loan interest is as ridiculously low as it is now. Financing was a no brainer for me even though I did pay about 1/3 of the cost when I picked my new JCW up.
