I have the full nav 8.8" screen and have a few questions if anybody can help.
1, How do you delete saved destinations from the system?
2, Can you save your currant position as a destination?
3, Can you set the screen to autozoom so that it will zoom in as you come up to a junction?
Any guidance will be very helpfull

Well, here goes... (using the android manual)

1. Editing or Deleting an Address
It says Navigation > Address book then highlight the entry.
Open Options then "Edit in Contacts" or "Delete entry"

2. Storing the position
Navigation, then open Options.
Then "Store position as contact" or "Add to existing contact"
Finish with "Store in vehicle".

It looks like the list of "last destinations" can also be used for guidance and managed in a similar way. Maybe you don't have to always add things as contacts?

3. There is a note next to "Route overview" that says "This view is also selected if the scale is adjusted until the following appears: "AUTO"".

It's not clear how you change the scale... maybe turn the controller? See if you can adjust it until it says AUTO. Maybe that's it?

Unfortunately the android manual isn't fully searchable, and navigation isn't in the pdf mnaual.

Anyway, hope that helps... when I have a car I can try it myself :)

I'm already hearing the mechanical sounds as the MINI CS rises up on its rear wheels whilst starting to unfold itself into all of it's glorious peppy aggression.....

I would hope that it didn't transform into one of the little ice cream bread van things with a bad attitude.
I would hope it has definite heroic qualities....

Gawd, what am I saying?

Transformer MCS

I need help

Or maybe more than my dog for company!!!

I read the back of the manual :)

There are two voice commands for navigation...
"Map automatic scaling"
"Map automatic scaling off"

So it can do it!
Tried this out just now. It is available only in "Map Facing North" view and can be switched (by voice command) when route guidance is active.

Looking for help from UK MINI owners. I live in North America (Canada) and want to code the British voice for my whole system. I have heard though that some of the commands that we commonly use over here do not work when this is done. I am wondering if maybe there are different phrases that you use.
The most commonly used and important one is the "Take me home" command. This turns on the NAV and set the most direct route to your house! Quite useful as you can imagine when you are lost in uncharted territory!
Is there a phrase that you use over there that works on your NAV? Any other phrases that are good to know?
