Hello everyone,

Soon I will hit around 50k kilometers in my MCS F55 and I was thinking about an automatic transmission fluid change.
It is the new 7-speed dual clutch transmission from getrag "7DCT300", but I don't know what type of fluid should I buy?
I was thinking about Millermatic ATF DCT-DSG from Millers Oils, I like that brand and it has served me well. But is it the right type for this transmission?

I looked everywhere and there is no mention of the new 7 DCT, still older 6 speed Aisins.
I would be so glad if someone here could help me since I'm lacking in informations about ATs!

Thank you! 馃槉

Millers are brilliant if you ask on their contact /query link on the website-got back to me within a day re oils. Or you could ask your dealer but expect they'll just say 'it's sealed for life sir!'

Okay, thanks for help. Of course bmw will say its lifetime haha! And since the DCTs are fairly new, some people still think its the older Aisins.

Coming back with infor from Millers and unfortunately the Millermatic ATF DCT-DSG can't serve my gearbox.
I'm struggling, wishing somebody knows something about what fluid does this new DCT use

You could always try the manufacturer and see what they recommend...

I don't think it will just be Mini who claim the box is fill for life as this article suggests it is as well...

These guys seem to sell the gearbox component parts and can do rebuilds so they might have and idea as to what oil to use...

I think they mean it for the mechatronics in the dsg, which is closed and cannot be changed, therefore its lifetime, not for the wet clutches, which is the 4L capacity and can't be lifetime.

I will keep all of you updated when I get a reply or some kind of information.
Reply from Millers Oils HQ in UK - replied that their Millermatic ATF-DCT is NOT suitable for this gearbox. They cannot offer me a product.

I'm awaiting replies from Magna PT (getrag), Ravenol and some local BMW/MINI specialists.

Will keep you informed below!

Got multiple replies from trusted local BMW/MINI specialists and FOUND IT!
OEM: BMW DCTF-2 (83222433157)
Not original, but you can use it:
MOTUL DCTF
CASTROL ATF Multivehicle
RAVENOL MTF-2 75W80

Specification for that DCT is DCTF-2 75W80.
Capacity is 4 liters (or 4.2 qts for US market)

I'm happy and I'm going to perform an oil change soon after 60k km.
I could make a thread and tutorial.
Hopefully this thread will help people with this gearbox, thanks for all the help!
