Finally, my new JCW has arrived - my wife has an F56 Cooper S which is great so I am looking forward to seeing how much better this really is!!!!

So far I'm loving it!!!!

(Spec includes : Thunder Grey with a Red Roof; Pan Roof; Heads Up; Advanced Key; Media Pack XL; Dinamica & Leather Recaros; Harman Kardon; CD Changer ++++)

Yes, the spot lights were dealer fit, they are the all LED ones - I think you can also get ones with standard bulbs. Need to go out in the dark to see how they perform.

Automatic or Manual Transmission? I have not seen a manual delivered yet. I'm still waiting. Thanks for ordering the rally lights...as I did as well...I have not seen "one pic" on here of that option installed.....looks WONDERFUL!

Sharp looking Car but you Guys in the UK need to adopt to the Metric System and the Steering Wheel on the correct Side. Them Round About are more fun that way.

It's an automatic - I use the car for driving round London so Auto is a must for me. I'm fortunate to have Mini GP2 as well for general messing about!!!

Good point. If it was me (which it alas, isn't) I'd strip out the GP2 completely, rework the suspension, aero etc and develop a mega track tool.. but I'm a serious car-nerd...

I took some more pictures the other day, I'll upload them shortly.........

It's very different to the GP as it is so much more refined and rides better (not much harder than my wifes F56 Cooper S) - probably on the road the JCW would have the edge, on the track the GP is a serious weapon not least as the 6 Pot brakes it has are ridiculously good.

It is also useful for putting my dogs in without the back seats but that probably isn't what they designed it for!!!!

Nice looking car Steve,especially when it's dry and sunny! You obviously can't resist running up the miles, soon be bedded in!


I'm picking up mine tomorrow, was to be at 10.00 but sales manager just called
at 7 pm to delay it to 1 pm as LED D/Lamps not due in till 8 am tomorrow I have a feeling they ordered the Halogens by mistake but at least it's all wired up ready.


Gone for Lapis/Red Roof combo and added aero kit at last minute. Can't wait.:laugh:

Lapis jcw

Finally picked up car this afternoon! Hope this gives some of you an idea of what it's like in the flesh. 1st in this colour in UK I was told and I love it.


Dealer managed to fit Led D/lamps and aero kit (minus carbon mirror caps as I prefer red ones), but unfortunately Bluetooth exhaust wasn't in and I couldn't wait. Will be in next week hopefully but JCW exhaust doesn't sound too bad.


Will have to think up a few excuses to take it out!!:laugh:
